Solar shut his eyes, taking in the energy radiating from the sun above, making the most of the weather whilst he still could, a smirk playing on his armour-hidden lips. His attack of choice, the solar flare was very inconspicuously charging up at the top of his helmet. Again, lucky for him, the weather was on his side today, so the charge shouldn’t take so long, he just needed to stall for just a bit.
“You can only wish. You’re far too self confident. I’ll make sure you eat those words.” He said in a low voice, before he knew it, the attack was ready. He jumped up, sending ripples of what looked like rays directly from the sun at Napalm, only giving a little glimpse of his power, pacing his moves so that he wouldn’t run low on energy so soon.
Napalm prepared his stance, his feet firmly planted in to the ground as he raised his missiles while the other charged. The bright and sunny atmosphere around them allowing his opponent to charge more quickly than he thought. The rays quickly launching at him. He sent a few homing missiles around the rays. Not able to have enough time to send out a napalm bomb. But at least it was something as the waves hit him. Arms raised as he felt the temperature rise around him. “YOU’LL HAVE TA’ DO BETTER THAN THAT YA PEST! I WAS BUILT TO WITHSTAND THE RADIATION HEAT FROM BOMBS!” he yelled, forgetting whatever he told himself before about wasting energy. He wanted himself to be heard and he wanted his words known.
Solar dodged the homing missiles for as long as he could, allowing them to soon hit the wall, throwing Solar forward and off-balance ever so slightly. He placed his hands out in front of him, blasting the solar flare at 75% power. He couldn’t afford to have another close shave like that happen again. He jumped backwards, readying himself for anymore attacks that Napalm had to throw at him. Still smirking, Solar responded;
“When you get hit by the rays of the sun, then you’ll know what true burns are!” he said, firing another small attack like before as well as the solar flare.
